The app is very well put together, and their customer support is awesome! They're generally quick to respond and very happy to help! I wanted to change my 3 month subscription plan to a year plan, and since you can't simply change your plan they quickly helped by refunding my current plan and giving a discount for the year plan!
I would have given 5 stars, but when asking specific questions about a course through their in app function, I haven't gotten any replies. Apart from that it's brilliant.

I really like Brilliant.
Have only tested it brfly, but it was evidently really well done & helpful = effective.
So I was happy to subscribe beyond initial free trial 7 days.

But i was shocked to find that i was charged 1 year in a single payment. I do not know if the problem / misunderstanding was mine, and-OR if the billing system was too agressive or confusing.
I wanted && need a monthly payment subscription

I am on a terribly tight budget these days. And I need every €$ and cent for food each week.

I wrote to Customer Support about my dilemma. They were very prompt, courteous and efficient to help me reset the subscription basis.
I am so very grateful for their help, tone and human timbre !!
I will now _carefully_ re-subscribe, making SURE that I will only be charged each month.

I am sure many other people who find themselves in similar financial difficulty -- but who, like me, welcome great online teaching and interactive presentation & pacing to truly upgrade skills, scope and confidence for the future.

In my case it was an excellent FreeCAD tutorial on YouTube which cited Brilliant sponsor & initial link.
I browsed around then started an introductory Python course.
Marvellous. It's been years. I needed a refresher that is up date, modern stylish and serious.
Bravo -- very encouraging.
I wish this had existed 20 years ago. Onwards. These are Lucky Good times to be studying

The program was okay. But the main reason I gave them one star is because I had a free trial. I decided to cancel the program before my free trial was up and then lo and behold, they still charged me $120. I will get my bank involved and get a refund, but that's definite no from me.

Update: I had to come back and change my rating from one star to four. Although I did initially get incorrectly charged, after emailing their support, it wasn't very long at all before they were processing my refund. I honestly thought I was going to have to wait at least 24 hours before I heard back from them and then, like a lot of companies, I thought I was going to get pushback from them. But they took care of the problem right away! Things happen, but at least they cared enough to make it right as quickly as possible.

Brilliant is magnificent as a learning product, has so much to give to curious people. But above all, I've had necessity to close my premium subscription, and luckily in Brilliant there are kind and comprehensive people, that have immediately start the refund process for me just with an email written by me.

Brilliant is a great app really makes learning easy. By mistake I bought the year subscription. I couldn't afford this and they gave me a refund striaght away no questions asked. Excellent customer service.

I've been trying to learn math for decades and only now, after joining Brilliant, I'm getting somewhere. It's already changing how I approach my work!

The experience is not exactly perfect — I come across an issue every now and then — but everything is so well done that these adversities become a minor concern. I can say for real I HAVE FUN studying math at Brilliant, even though I've dreaded math for so long.

Thumbs up to the support team too. Agent Sandy approached my requests with attention and care, making my experience even better than it already was.

Absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to set things straight with a frustrating math past!

Builds your knowledge from the ground up, while making sure you understand by applying it to quizzes.

This support is indeed brilliant.
I forgot to cancel my membership and got charged but because I didn't use brilliant anymore I wanted to get a refund (also closed my account inbefore).

Within 10 minutes the support answered and sent the money back. They were so friendly I almost felt sorry for asking.

The new concepts that I was introduced to in my brief time with Brilliant were mind blowing, literally. The learning concept is challenging enough and the solutions are really helpful. I was refunded and in full and within the advised time. THANK YOU BRILLIANT.

Sandy was superb in giving me a refund - I did not have the time to pursue Brilliant - but plan to use again when more spare time.

The Brilliant app delivers fun and very accessible ways to learn important concepts and build skill and knowledge. The lessons are built on solid science around our ability to learn and master new knowledge.

I accidentally got charged by forgetting to cancel after the free trial and they refunded my money as requested. When I have more time to spend using the app, I will add it back and pay for it.

The price is a little high (over $100 a year). Given the value of an informed, skilled and knowledgeable community at this critical moment in our history, I do wish the cost were more accessible to all.

The learning opportunities Brilliant offers are first class. The same goes for the support team: they resolved an issue for me very quickly. They are polite, engaged and they are just so solution-oriented.

I foolishly subscribed on the understanding you could try and then cancel if you didn't like it.
I don't like it, there is no way to easily cancel the subscription. I have emailed them but had no response. They have just taken my money and its a total scam.
Do not touch this company you will lose £100...!!!!

I had just signed up with Brilliant and had a couple of questions. In the app it was easy to find the way to get support, and I got an email out, and within less than 1.3 hours, I had my well-stated answers, even on a Saturday evening. Wow, what great support!
