"Way Easier Than I Expected"
I’ve tried a few math courses before, and this one made the tough stuff click way faster than the others. It explained things in a simple, clear way without making me feel lost

"Good lessons, but feels pricey and a bit impersonal"
Brilliant does have some really nice lessons, and I like how it breaks things down in a way that’s easy to follow. That said, the subscription feels kind of expensive for how much I actually use it. If you’re studying a lot or using it every day, it’s probably worth it, but for casual learning it’s hard to justify paying every month. I also wish there was more actual human contact or support involved. Sometimes it feels like you’re just stuck clicking through screens on your own, which makes the price feel even harder to swallow.
"I was a little suspicious at first, like…"
I was a little suspicious at first, like, okay, is this just another app trying to hook me with streaks? But Brilliant actually does a nice job with the little challenges. They’re fun without feeling overwhelming, and I catch myself wanting to come back most days. Didn’t really expect that
"Fun lessons, but the renewal caught me off guard"
I’ve been enjoying Brilliant overall, the lessons are fun, easy to follow, and kind of make you want to keep clicking through one more, then another. The only thing that bugged me was the billing side. I guess I didn’t notice exactly when the renewal was coming up, and then the charge just appeared. Maybe I missed it, but it didn’t feel super clear to me. Not a huge deal, and I still like the app, but I do think they should make the renewal reminder more obvious before charging people...

"Canceling was actually easy"
I was expecting canceling my Brilliant subscription to be annoying, but it really wasnt. I found the option in my account settings and it only took a couple minutes. No weird runaround, no need to email support over and over. I still think the lessons are good, Im just not using it enough right now. Its nice that they make canceling fair and straightforward.

"Good teachers, but the clarity varies"
I can usually tell when a lesson was put together by someone who really knows their stuff. There’s a pattern: the stronger lessons have clear examples and build up nicely, but then a few of them suddenly move too fast or skip over the part I needed explained. Overall, I’d say it’s decent and the teachers seem knowledgeable, just not consistently clear every time.

"Just tried it and really enjoyed the short lessons"
I just tried the free trial recently, i liked it more than I expected. The lessons are short and easy to follow, so it didn’t feel boring or like a chore. The puzzles were a nice touch too, they actually made me stop and think a bit without being frustrating...

"So many fun topics in one place 🙂"
I started using Brilliant for the math lessons, but quickly found myself checking out logic, science, and even some computer science stuff too. I really like that there’s such a good mix of topics all in one place, and it doesn’t feel overwhelming to jump around and try something new 😊

"CS finally started to click"
I have mixed feelings, but overall I’m glad I stuck with it. Computer science used to feel really confusing and kind of overwhelming, and now it’s finally starting to make sense. Some parts are still frustrating and take me longer than I’d like, but I can actually follow what’s going on now, which feels like a big win...

"Made the Hard Stuff Click"
The interactive lessons made the tougher topics feel way easier to understand. I wasn’t expecting it to help that much, but it actually kept me engaged, which, let’s be real, is half the battle.

"The lessons go deep, but they…"
The lessons go deep, but they don’t really get boring, which I appreciated. I’m still not totally sure how consistent the overall quality is yet, but so far the material has kept my attention better than I expected.
"Great for quick learning, but not always deep enough"
I really like the visual explanations on Brilliant. They make a lot of topics way easier to understand, especially when something feels confusing at first. That said, sometimes it feels like the lessons move a little too quickly or skip over the boring details that I actually need to fully get it. It’s great for quick learning and getting the main idea, but I wouldn’t say it’s perfect if you’re trying to study something in depth...

"Pleasantly surprised by how much I learned"
I wasn’t expecting much at first, but this actually helped me learn. It was easier to follow than I thought, and I came away feeling like I really understood the material better

"The progress tracking works well…"
The progress tracking works well overall and makes it easy to see where I’m at. I did feel a little pressured to keep checking it and stay on track, but the feature itself is useful and does what it’s supposed to do.

"Actually Makes Practice Enjoyable"
I’ve been using Brilliant for a while now to work on problem-solving, and I genuinely like it. The questions aren’t just about memorizing formulas — they actually make you think things through. I also appreciate how the hints give you a nudge without totally spoiling the answer, so it still feels like I’m figuring it out myself. Some lessons definitely take me longer than I expect, but that’s part of why it feels useful. It feels like real practice instead of boring homework, and I’d say it’s been worth it.

"Surprisingly Fair, Imagine That"
I was kind of shocked that the price actually feels fair, because apparently that’s still allowed. The lessons are solid, easy to follow, and I don’t feel like I’m being constantly nudged to upgrade every five minutes. For me, it’s been worth it.

"I’ve been using Brilliant mostly on…"
I’ve been using brilliant mostly on my phone, it’s been really nice. The lessons are short enough that I can do one on the bus or right before bed, and the app itself is, wait, the best part is probably that it doesn’t feel cluttered or annoying to use. I like that it actually makes you try things instead of just throwing a huge wall of text at you. Some of the questions make me pause and think for a minute, but in a good way. No issues with the app so far either, it’s been running smoothly for me

"It’s decent practice overall, don’t get me…"
It’s decent practice overall, don’t get me wrong. But once it gets into the more advanced stuff, it kind of still walks you through everything too much. I was hoping it would dig deeper and let me wrestle with the harder parts a bit more, but it stays guided. Good enough for brushing up, just not quite as in-depth as I wanted.

"Honestly, Brilliant clicked for me"
I was rusty with math and kind of signed up on a whim, but wow, brilliant actually made practicing way less painful. After a few weeks, I noticed I was solving problems faster and feeling way more confident.

"Really easy to manage my account"
My account settings were simple to find, and changing my details didn’t feel stressful at all. I didn’t get stuck anywhere, which was nice. Something about it just felt smooth overall, and I liked that...
